Yes, I have a lot of waitress friends. Here we are at Chile's visiting Britt! Kristina, Leah, Michelle, Ashley, Megan and I all went out to dinner together before going back to Megan's and hanging out and talking by the fire all night. Oh, and I can not forget, watching our DVR'd episode of The Bachelor. Jake, the new bachelor of this season, is such a beautiful thing to gaze at. My odds of missing an episode this season are slim to none. I already have my favorites picked out... Tenly and Ali. Yay. Anyways, tonight was so much fun because one of my favorite things in the world is just being able to be with people. I think that being able to sit in a room, no tv, no computers, no distractions, with your best friends and spend time together is one of the most wonderful and gratifying ways to spend your time. For me at least.
This morning I also went to the dermatologist for the first time in my life because I have acne for the first time in my life. It popped out of no where! Kidding, not out of no where. I'm sure it is mainly an effect of my terrible sleeping habits and questionable food intake in college, but I'm not used to having cheeks that aren't smooth like the cheeks of a baby's bottom. Nevertheless, I now have the creams and lotions to get back to smooth cheek status. Hopefully my "fish oil" vitamins will not only give me a stronger heart but also cause cause a positive outcome in my hair, skin, and nail health. However the rumor that they cause your sweat to smell like fish is a bit of a worry for me. We'll see.
Enough about my face, and going with the sweating. I officially started my half marathon training today. I went to the Y and ran three miles on the treadmill. When I was done the room was definitely spinning and I realized how out of shape I truly am. My work is cut out for me. I was lucky to have my sister Hannah along, the world's running and health superwoman, or else I would have only run two miles and no intense ab workout afterward. Gotta love having a sister as a built in fitness trainer.
Just one more thing... We ran into about 10 people we knew at the Y today, including Ryan, Megan, Ashley, Leah, Mr. Kraft and more! I love West Sub.
